Collection / Use of Information

Cloudli shall collect and use your personal information for billing, provisioning of service, to solve problems associated with service, and to inform you of new products or services that will better meet your needs. Authorized personnel of Cloudli will use your identifiable information to market products and services to you, but will not disclose or make available your personal information to any third parties seeking to market products before obtaining your consent. If you choose not to be included in direct marketing campaigns of new products and services from Cloudli, your information will not be used.

Information Collected

Cloudli collects Personal Information for the provisioning, delivery and billing of services. Some of the Personal Information collected by Cloudli includes:

  • First and Last Name
  • Email
  • Phone Number
  • User IDs

In addition to Personal Information, we also collect additional information in the course of provisioning, delivering and billing your services:

  • Business Name
  • Business Tax ID
  • IP-based Geolocation
  • IP Address
  • Device IDs (e.g. IMEI number, MAC address, Widevine Device ID, Firebase Installation ID, or advertising identifier)
  • Device/OS/browser used to access Cloudli services
  • Contact List Data and Contact Information (e.g. names, phone numbers, user names, message history, contact recency, contact frequency, interaction duration, call history, etc.)
  • App Interactions
  • Payment Data (e.g. card type, number, etc.)
  • Information provided by you to Cloudli through emails, Service Requests, etc.
  • Information that you send in your account (e.g., instant messages, chat content, user photos and videos, voice and/or sound files, files and documents, etc.)

Sometimes, Cloudli needs to share this Personal Information with other organizations such as:

  • Service Providers
  • Payment Processing Providers
  • Analytics providers
  • Parties You Authorize, Access or Authenticate
  • Regulatory Authorities as required by law

Cloudli will not read, listen to or disclose to any third parties private e-mail, conversations, or other communications that are transmitted using Cloudli services except as required to provide, maintain, protect and improve the services or as otherwise authorized by law.

Unlawful Activity

Cloudli may use your identifiable information to investigate and help prevent potentially unlawful activity or activities that threaten the integrity of service or network integrity or otherwise violate Cloudli Terms of Use Agreements.

Non-Personal Information

Non-personal information is information concerning the manner in which you access our web sites. This information includes the type of browser you use, your computer’s operating system, the name of your Internet Service Provider as well as the pages you visit and links you click. Non-personal information is automatically collected when you access our web sites.

Non-personal information is also used to diagnose problems with our servers, gather broad demographic information and to administer our web site. Such information does not allow us to personally identify you.

Account Information access and corrections

You can correct your personal information anytime by login into the “Your Cloudli account” page on Cloudli shall honor any e-mail requests sent to the address below from you to access, change or delete your account information (i.e., name, address or billing information) or otherwise correct inaccurate information. In addition, if you believe that your personally identifiable information is being mishandled in light of this Privacy Statement, please immediately notify Cloudli by e-mail at so that we can address your concern.

The security policies, best practices and enforcement mechanisms in place at Cloudli are derived from the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI/DSS) which is used as a guideline.

Sensitive customer data is protected through the use of encryption mechanisms, including when at rest and in transit.

To prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate use of information, we have put in place safeguards to secure the information we collect online. Our servers use AES encryption technology to protect your sensitive data including credit card information. When these types of measures are taken, shopping online is safe and secure. We use industry-recognized standards in transaction security to protect the information you provide when you make a purchase at Cloudli. Servers holding your private information are secure and accessed by authorized personnel only. All portal and management access to our systems use secure TLS connections.

Call traffic, whether voice or fax, of our SIP and T.38 Trunking customers is never at rest or accessed other than on a random or infrequent bases as necessary to perform troubleshooting services requested by you or as required by law. Customers who require encryption can subscribe to our CryptAgent service where call traffic is encrypted during transmission. The security characteristics of our CryptAgent, SIP and T.38 Trunking services make them idea for customers wishing to comply with regulations such as HIPAA in the USA and PIPEDA in Canada.

Messaging traffic, both voice and fax, of our Desktop Fax and Voicemail services customers is stored in a virtual environment architecture that protects data at rest from unauthorized access with strictly controlled roles and continuous tracking of all access attempts.

TalkNText – How to Delete Account Data

Here at Cloudli, we’re serious about how your personal data is handled. In the event that you choose to cancel your TalkNText service, all communication data associated with your business’ account will be retained only as long as required by regulatory demands.

Any account information associated with your business may be retained for investigative purposes and to prevent abuse of our service. 

Want to inquire about the status of your account data? Here’s what to do:

  1. Send an email to our Customer Support Team from the address you used to register for TalkNText, quoting your business name in the message body and your specific request regarding your data.
  2. We’ll validate that you are the registered owner of the account and reach out to understand your request.
  3. We will confirm the approved action plan, based on regulatory requirements.
