New Cloudli Connect Business Phone Platform Provides Canadian Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) with Customer-Centric Unified Communications and CX Capabilities

SMBs can save over 50% compared to leading Canadian Business Phone Solutions

Montreal, QC. – January 20, 2022 – Cloudli Communications, a leading provider of voice, data and messaging solutions, today announced the launch of Cloudli Connect in Canada, a new cloud-based business phone system that equips small businesses (SMBs) with unified voice and texting capabilities, at a savings of over 50% compared to leading Canadian business phone solutions.*

According to Industry Canada, there are 1.16M SMBs with fewer than 50 employees in Canada. This segment constitutes 95% of all businesses in the Canadian market. Although SMBs have communication needs similar to larger enterprises, cloud-based technologies offering modern business phone functionality can come at a premium that doesn’t make sense for small businesses. Cloudli Connect solves the specific business communications challenges facing this segment, with a unique service-based pricing model that allows SMBs to get enhanced business voice and texting for less, and access to rich features like contact centre, virtual receptionist and integrations with Microsoft Teams.

With Cloudli Connect, business communication service is priced based on the services selected, rather than on a flat rate, per-user basis. This allows costs to be shared across users and enables SMBs to achieve economies of scale based on their specific usage and requirements.

For example, many SMBs have several employees who rarely use their phone lines, but still require service. These lines often sit dormant, yet the SMB must still pay for that unused dedicated capacity. With Cloudli Connect, that capacity can be shared across multiple users, to allow SMBs to reduce their phone service costs while still providing users with access to business phone service as needed.

In addition to supporting business voice, Cloudli Connect also permits SMBs to enable SMS and MMS messaging for their users via the Cloudli app. Additional enhanced features that can be implemented with Cloudli Connect include Microsoft Teams integrations, contact centre, automated attendant, virtual receptionist console, and more.

“Cloudli Connect brings together enterprise-quality voice and texting with a pricing model that makes it easy for SMBs to do business,” said Gavin Macomber, CEO of Cloudli. “Small businesses are often an afterthought in the design of business communications platforms. We developed Cloudli Connect specifically to meet the needs of this segment, allowing SMBs of all sizes to access a bespoke communications solution tailored to solve their unique business challenges.”
