Human Resources Manager

We’re looking for a dynamic, autonomous and experienced HR Manager to help us grow our team to keep up with our expanding business. You will work with each of our department heads to ensure that we can fill their open roles in a timely and efficient manner. As the first person in our HR team, this is your opportunity to get in early and help us develop our hiring methodology as well as provide your insights into what tools and software we use for the staff management and hiring process.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement a strategy to source and acquire new talent
  • Support department managers with full cycle recruitment
  • Provide advice on and manage on a day-to-day basis various human resources matters, company policies and employment legislation
  • Develop on-boarding plans to support new hires
  • Review and develop recommendations regarding total rewards including benefits, compensation plans, pay matrices
  • Develop and implement performance review process
  • Manage employee records and ensure compliance
  • Maintain organizational charts and current job descriptions
  • Develop and update company employment policies
  • Develop employee engagement initiatives, workshops and training and retention strategies with assistance from managers
  • Develop and coordinate employee recognition and appreciation events
  • Develop and lead employee communications and feedback, be a sounding board for employees
  • Manage off-boarding – voluntary and involuntary terminations of employment
  • Oversee health and safety initiatives and manage policy updates and creation in keeping with provincial legislative requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • An undergraduate degree in a related field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or other related degree.
  • An HR designation is preferred
  • 5+ years of related progressive professional experience with at least 3+ leadership in human resources management
  • Experience with HR management software
  • Experience in Tech, SaaS and/or other software industries preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Montreal based preferred
  • Bilingual preferred (English, French)

Asterisk Telephony Servers Administrator

Tasks

  • Deploy and manage Asterisk telephony servers.
  • Install and configure Linux servers. Deploy internet and telephony services.
  • Monitor system operations & performance. Maintain & improve systems performance.
  • Use system & application logs to detect, understand and resolve operating system, hardware, applications, and software problems.
  • Support and troubleshoot help desk requests from internal staff.
  • Work with the development team to improve functionality. Participate in the validation of new software releases.
  • Prepare, configure and provision systems to be used for QA.
  • Run automated reports and analyse results. Maintain historical records.

Qualifications

  • Disciplined and methodical, pay attention to details.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, in French and English.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with capacity to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Understands business concepts and customer needs.
  • Proficiency with Asterisk and Linux (administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, monitoring, scripting).
  • Strong knowledge and experience of SIP based VoIP protocol and various VoIP equipment
  • Familiarity with vmware, docker, SQL, Rest, SSL.

VoIP Systems/Network Architect

Assignment and roles:

  • Works closely with different departments and management team on projects related to the design, development, deployment, monitoring, and evaluation of new products and services
  • Assist in the review, analysis, and evaluation of deployed solutions
  • Review and elaborate migration plans for systems and network equipment infrastructure including site backups and recovery processes.
  • Plan, deploy, and maintain highly available networking equipment and optimized it for VoIP/FoIP
  • Troubleshoot VoIP issues including compatibility, performance, and quality of service
  • Install, test, troubleshoot, monitor, and support different VoIP equipment in our labs and production network.
  • Review and optimize  security on systems and network equipment
  • Assist and provide 3rd level support to operation and support team on complex networking and VoIP issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related field
  • 7 years + of experience in networking and VoIP technologies
  • Security and networking certifications is an asset
  • Solid experience in IP switching and routing technologies and network equipment
  • Hand-on in high available hardware/software and virtual environments
  • Strong knowledge and experience of SIP-based VoIP protocol and various VoIP equipment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in testing and debugging.
  • Proficiency with the Linux (administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, monitoring, scripting) and virtualization technologies
  • Programming knowledge is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills
